Guillaume Canet’s French thriller Tell No One (Ne le dis à personne) was released in North America last year to solid reviews (currently sitting at 93% on Rotten Tomatoes) but it only played in just over 100 theatres. Clearly, there are a lot of people who still have yet to see the movie, even though it was the top grossing foreign film of 2008. You know what that means… it’s time for a remake!
According to Movieweb, Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp will be teaming up with two as of yet unnamed U.S. majors to shoot an English-language version sometime this year. Details are fairly thin so far, but the good news is that the original will be available for all to see when it gets released on DVD on March 31st. For those interested, the plot is about a man whose wife was brutally murdered. One day he receives an e-mail that appears to be from her, which causes the case to be re-opened with the police targeting him as the prime suspect. Check out the trailer below.
